19th October meeting. Notice for Visitors.
Admission is not guaranteed.
We are pleased to be returning to St Nicolas’ Hall for only the second time since the pandemic began. However the pandemic is not over and we ask for co-operation in observing safety measures.
If you are experiencing any covid-19 symptoms (including high temperature, new continuous cough, changed sense of taste or smell) please do not enter the building.
You will be asked to sign in at a desk with your name and telephone number and you may also wish to use the QR code poster at the door. Should you test positive in the 14 days following the meeting please notify our secretary, Rollo Crookshank (email@example.com or 01252 319881)) so that we can inform those attending
We are requesting that you sanitise on entry and wear a face covering until seated. Doors and windows will be kept open to ensure adequate ventilation so please ensure that you have suitable clothing as we cannot alter the setting of the heating system. Ventilation may also mean a certain amount of extraneous noise. At the end of the meeting and Q & A please do not engage in conversation but leave through the fire exit at the lecturer’s end of the hall, avoiding bunching as far as possible.
The charge for visitors is £3. Please bring the exact money as we will not be giving change.
We are not enforcing an exact limit on numbers but we will endeavor to space seating as much as possible and, in the event of larger than expected numbers, might have to close the hall to further admissions. We ask for your tolerance in such circumstances. Please arrive in good time. No admission after 7.30.
