Visit to the Foundling Museum, Sunday 15th May 2016 (£8 per head)

Due to a poor take up the proposed group visit on 15th May has been cancelled. Members who still wish to go can attend as individual visitors and the price of admission will include the afternoon concert.

The Foundling Hospital, established in 1739, was the UK’s first childrens’ charity and first public art gallery. The museum, built on the site of the hospital and incorporating many features from the 18th century building, traces the often moving story of the children cared for at the hospital.
